So there we were, Tuesday 16th June 2015, London ExCel. It could only mean one thing! FIELDMOTION were in town for Europe\’s leading service management event, the Service Management Expo 2015. It was a fantastic three days of networking, sourcing and education and we would like to thank everyone that came to visit us at our stand.

For three days Allison, Robert and Michelle got the chance to network and also bring our solution to workflow management to a big audience. Not only did we get out of the office, we got to network with some fantastic people. We came to London with the intention of providing people with our solution to their workflow management and to also give away up to £5,500 worth of our software. More info

We have to say it was a fantastic event all round. There were so many businesses that were interested in our product that we had to dedicate a whole day back at the office to construct our thank you letters and email lists. We have learned so much that will no doubt help us enhance our development and allow us to bring an even more effective product to market.

Benefits of FIELDMOTION Workflow System

For the past few months now we have been hosting webinars to aid customers in training. We initially wanted to have webinars for customers to become more familiar with our workflow system. Due to popular demand; we have been hosting webinars every Tuesday and Friday and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

This has been a great opportunity for us to show just how easy it is to use our workflow system. In terms of public demand, the response we have received has been overwhelming. Initially set up as a test run for using the FIELDMOTION system, it has now become one of our main avenues of training and implementation.

We have noticed a significant decrease in customer issues. From the first day of implementing the system, there have been troubleshooting issues. We can now cover any troubleshooting issues within our webinars. We can then fully explain the most effective way to work with FIELDMOTION and also solve any potential problems a user may face.

Not only do our webinars give us the chance to engage with our customers, we get to help our customers. We can even enlighten potential customers. Our webinars are not exclusive to customers, anyone can register!

Anyone who attends our webinars have the chance to ask any questions they may have. There are a lot of areas to cover in our workflow system but that is why we are hosting these regular webinars. We would like to thank all attendees of the webinars. Without you, we would not be doing what we love to do and that is helping people. We’d all like to be better than our competitors. The reason we strive to be the best is of course, the competition. They give us the desire to go out there and dominate our prospective markets. We might not want to admit it but we all learn something from them, whether it’s big or small. If we think it will help, we will give it a whirl and I don’t believe that to be a bad thing.

Take a look at the processes you have in place. Are they truly efficient and productive? Do they get the most out of your work force? Take a long, hard look and answer truthfully! If you have field workers, I already know that you are not working to the best measure. Imagine these scenarios:

Scenario 1

You run a construction company. You have 10 field workers. Each day they go to the office, get their paperwork for the day. They have several folders with risk assessments, job sheets and much more each. They go to their jobs and each time they fill out a form, they have to get a signature and then file it away to be taken back to the office and dumped on the accountants’ desk to process. This happens for 10 field workers, each time. I know what you’re thinking – that poor accountant!

Scenario 2

You run the same construction company. You still have 10 field workers. Each day they go straight to the job. They don’t have any folders or paperwork. They have just one thing, a Smartphone! (Stay with me). They fill out their forms on the phone, get a digital signature and send the paperwork instantly back to the office and ready for the accountant to process as soon as the job is completed. This happens for 10 field workers, each time. I know what you’re thinking now – why is that accountant always smiling?
