Service Job Management Software
FieldMotion's paperless workflow system is used by people in many idustries. For the service industries, we provide asset and job management and workflow that links your current jobs to jobs you've already done with the same customers.
Our workflow system allows users to work on their own jobs, with follow-up jobs based on details filled in on the form for the job you just completed.
All forms and workflows in FieldMotion are customisable. You decide how new jobs are created, based on whatever questions you want your workers to answer.
Some examples of workflow that we have automated:
- You are a plumber, inspecting water boilers. Based on the severity of the findings in your reports, you may wish to either book one or more types of repair, or book an entire replacement. FieldMotion can be configured to create many follow-up jobs based on the values in your report.
- You are a nurse assigned to measure and record certain statistics. If the blood pressure is measured as too high (over 140 mmHg), then a doctor must be appointed immediately. FieldMotion can be assigned to automatically make that decision and create a job for a doctor to come visit the patient.
- You are assigned to paint a room. After painting, there is a 3 day fumigation period before the next worker (flooring, say) starts his job. FieldMotion can be configured such that when a Painting job is completed, it is followed three days later by a Flooring job. You don't need to call anyone to arrange it; FieldMotion will automatically set up the appointent, and can even assign it to a specific person if you wish.
The workflows that you create can be "chained" - one job type can create one or more others, which can create one or more others, etc. So, for example, you could create a workflow for the entire construction of a building, or the full maintenance of whatever assets you manage. We would not presume to completely automate medicine, obviously, but we can help with the decision-making!
While it is impossible to say qualitatively that we have the absolute best workflow management system, we have never come across a workflow that we couldn't replicate in our system.
