Our company has been in business since 1967. We have been using FIELDMOTION for several months now. Our Service Division has been operating for over 20 years on what we considered to be a very efficient paper system.
Since converting to FIELDMOTION the only question we have now is- How did we manage without it?

When the guys at Fieldmotion initially asked me if I would like to take a look at their product I was sceptical as I was sure I didn’t need it.
We have been in business for over 30 years and I was certain that my way was the best, that it would not be flexible enough for my needs and that a system like this was really designed for large companies with loads of employees. I was wrong!
Fieldmotion were able to reproduce and streamline all our paperwork and certificates. All our clients’ details, appointments, contracts and assets are available in one place at the touch of a button.
When we are out on site we can fill in the job details on our mobile phones and the invoice and certificate can be emailed to the customer immediately meaning we get paid quicker.
However the biggest benefit was that by throwing away the paper schedules, worksheets, timesheets, mileage records, certificates and invoices and by being more organised we will be employing another two field engineers in 2016. This is a direct result of being more organised, being able to clearly see what work we have ahead of us at any time and being able to react in real-time to our customers’ demands.
We are now in a position where, instead of thinking we don’t need it – we couldn’t do without it!

Before we started using FIELDMOTION, we were concerned that implementation of the new system would be slow and customer information being lost. However, the system is extremely user friendly and the support from the FIELDMOTION office is excellent. We experienced the usual teething issues you would expect when implementing a new system, but help was always on the other end of the phone and any small issues we had at the start were either immediately corrected in real time, or where necessary additional training support was provided to both office staff and engineers on the road.
In the past getting completed dockets/reports back to the office for invoicing was slow. We were dependent on finding a time in the engineer’s schedule to return paperwork, which had a knock on effect on a number of things-slower getting invoices out, slower to pick up follow up work on machines, not always having the information to hand if a customer had a query. The new system will email a copy direct to the accounts department for processing and equally alerts the service department of any follow up required, equally our customer now instantly gets a copy sent to their email and a copy is available to us online going forward, this will help to improve the service we offer our customers through limiting downtime and alerting them to potential health and safety issues on their machinery in a much more timely manner
The most significant improvement in our company to date is the reduction in time spent processing paperwork and more efficient delivery of information both to our customers and to the office. I believe any other company in the service industry would see a benefit from this system, it is quite straight forward to use, it could be adapted to any scenario where a docket/report needs to be completed and signed.

We wanted the field engineers to be professional, efficient and environmentally friendly. We have a team of engineers that can be working across a large geographical scale, getting the information to and from them was a slow process as they had to leave all paper forms back to the office. G.S.Stothers M&E Engineering established in 1989. We are the sole approved installer for Colt in Northern Ireland. G.S.Stothers M&E Engineering has been involved in some of the ground breaking installations in Northern Ireland from Titanic Signature to Victoria Square Shopping Centre.
We were looking to improve on the amount of time a job takes from the first enquiry to completion time. This was also to try and cut out the unnecessary travel time and time wasted by engineers calling to the office to get information about their day ahead. Having done my research and found FIELDMOTION I knew this was the software that would improve operations.
From first seeing the software I completely loved the idea of it and how it worked. It fitted perfectly for us as our engineers spend less time at the office collecting & dropping off their work schedules, everything is now sent direct to their mobile devices so they have all the details for the job and their work schedule for the day ahead. Obviously reducing the amount of paperwork for both our site workers and office staff has been fantastic and means we get more jobs done. The time saved on searching through files has meant other tasks get completed at a quicker rate. Especially where invoicing is concerned, we can get customers billed the same day the job has been complete.
As soon as an engineer completes his job on FM this is invoiced instantly. This gives a clearer overview of the business performance as stock management is tightly controlled. Any material used on a job is record- ed. Nothing is missed like previous occasions where an item may have been forgotten about. Now we no longer have to worry about stock control as the mobile app prompts the engineer to enter all used stock. Again this is all visible back in the office immediately after the job has been completed.
We believe that cash flow is a big part of business & FIELDMOTION has helped dramatically.

FieldMotion is used to schedule our road engineers and report on tasks completed. Anything that comes up that it doesn't do, you make a request to them and they do everything in their power to facilitate. Customer Service is a high priority f theirs. You can set up recurring appointments so that you don't have to manually put a contract job up for each occurance ie. monthly, quarterly etc., There is a photograph option on the app so the guys can build photos into their reports on their phones. There's a timeline option where the hub computer can see what jobs were complete, not complete and in what timeframe. It can automatically send reports to clients once engineers complete their tasks. I could go on..
I really recommend this system for anyone that manages more than two or three people on the road.

Before we started working with FIELDMOTION Ltd, we were using another system but found FIELDMOTION to be a far more complete system. We found the diary function and the ability to fill in and sign documents remotely to be extremely beneficial. As FIELDMOTION is a complete system, it would certainly benefit any type of business but is particularly great for companies that have employees that work away from the office.
Like most new systems, there is a learning curve but the FIELDMOTION guys have given us great support to date and are always at hand to help out with anything we need.
Once set up, FIELDMOTION will be help to smooth the day to day running of any company and we would recommend it to anyone.

Before we started working with FIELDMOTION, our main concern was learning how to use the new system as we had never used anything like it before and new technology can be very daunting. We were also concerned about the availability of the back up support. However, we found FIELDMOTION to be very easy to use and it was explained to us in a way that all our employees were able to understand. The layout of the system could be easily changed to suit our needs and we have found the back up support provided by the FIELDMOTION team to be excellent. Any queries we had or changes that needed to be made were sorted out promptly.
Initially we had planned to run our existing docket book system alongside FIELDMOTION for the first few months, but since it was so easy to operate and understand, we were confident to just use FIELDMOTION after a few weeks.
From the office point of view, the information is instantly available and we no longer have the issue of lost paperwork or information coming back late. We can now generate sale invoices earlier, and we can archive information and retrieve specific reports when required. We also no longer have to file big piles of docket books. For our employees based outside the office, most of the information is already populated and the digital format is much easier to fill out than paper forms.
Overall, paperwork has been reduced and all sales information, time sheets and and purchases are coming back on time to the office.
We are very happy with the FIELDMOTION product and the service the from the FIELDMOTION team and we would recommend it to any business that has employees working away from the office.

At Numac Fabrications Ltd we manufacture waste skips, roll on roll off containers and waste compactors. We also carry out on site servicing of waste compactors and balers.
When we were first approached by FIELDMOTION our main concern was if this was something we would actually use and if it would benefit our company. Upon implementing FIELDMOTION, we were surprised at how much time it saved us each day. We are now able to send orders directly to the workshop supervisor without actually having to speak with him and explain the specifications of each job. In the past, orders were passed on verbally which tended to result in mistakes being made as important specifications were sometimes forgotten.
The ability to add photos to job sheets and service sheets has given our customers a better understanding of the work that we carry out for them. As FIELDMOTION stores all our information, including past jobs, it has been very beneficial to be able to source jobs carried out previously when required.

Established in 2008 By Bobby Workman , Workman Lifts install , repair, service, remove stair lifts in Northern Ireland. Private and NHSCT work is carried out. We have held contracts with NHSCT since 1st June 2008 and currently hold a servicing and Repair contract for NHSCT for over 1500 stair lifts.
We are Members of Safe T cert, Construction line and NICEIC and all our engineers have been manufacturer trained for our products and undergo refresher training on a regular basis.
Before we started working with FIELDMOTION, our biggest fear was that it might not work for us, costs and cost effectiveness, not having the support if something went wrong with the system, adding and removing clients from your list. However we were surprised how much time it saved when processing work and I can log in from home and do extra work if I need to. FIELDMOTION allows me to see the work online as it is being filled on by the engineer. As soon as the job is completed by the engineer it comes straight back to the office and I can have it processed before they finish their days work. It is so easy and fast to send the invoice, work sheets, photos to our contract manager. No more SD cards, printing, scanning and filing.
The photos and job sheets are all together no more hassle transferring from sd cards.
It is now quick and easy to send jobs to engineers which allows for a quick turnaround from when a job is sent, completed, processed invoiced and sent to the client. FIELDMOTION has saved our office staff from many hours printing scanning processing and there is also NO PAPER to file away! All data is saved on the server and can be found with a simple search.
I would recommend FIELDMOTION to any business where forms are required to be completed!
If you have any workers out in the field, FIELDMOTION is ideal. FIELDMOTION was easy to set up. I sent the guys at FM the forms I wanted to use and they processed them onto the system for me. I was given training on how to use the system from the office side and from the on field side. Any changes I wanted to the forms however little were done sometimes in a matter of an hour or two. My engineers were given training over the phone and a step by step guide was emailed to us for reference. We received full support from FM staff if I had any hiccups, or wasn’t sure how to do something, or had done something wrong.
It’s great to have the full support of the FIELDMOTION team and I’m so glad that Workman Lifts took the plunge and invested in the system. It’s worth every penny!
